The Dunham Barn is our café of choice this week; the sweet in the ride name reflects on the fantastic choice of cakes usually available here – they make a bacon roll the diet option!!
This is not a ride of two halves….we need to work up an appetite so the stop at just shy of 20 miles leaves us a relatively short run home. We head out via Swineyard, Bucklow Hill, Ashley and Bowden. The return takes us past the Swan with Two Nicks, Arthill before heading back through Lymm and Thelwall.
At just under 30miles and with 1,000ft of ascent this makes a good first ride for people looking to try out the Club.
