Out via Arley, Great Budworth and Comberbach we detour via Barnton to avoid the road closure on Soot Hill before heading out through Hartford and Whitegate Village. Return is via Sandiway, Crowton, Cuddington and Acton Bridge.

At 38miles and just under 1,500ft of ascent this route will stretch the legs just a little more than usual – but not too much more! We expect to average between 11mph and 14mph over the ride.

SOCIAL: Whitegate Station – Alternative

Bikes MUST be in good working order and you MUST have a helmet.  You need to carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and when necessary you should also have lights.

General Rules:
– Please keep pavements clear at meeting points, be respectful of pedestrians.
– Riders must ride maximum two abreast – not four! – and on the left hand side of the road – safety first!
– We generally ride as a single group, unless we have 12 or more riders when we would split into 2 groups (assuming we have enough ride leaders to accommodate this)
– Riders must have someone they can phone in case of emergencies and mechanical failure – it is not the responsibility of the leaders to fix a bike – but they will help if they can.
